While working in a SurePact record, you’ll find the Management section in the lower left corner, just below the list of lifecycle stages.
This area, along with the Information section, houses key tabs that provide additional information and actions to help manage your record effectively.
Tip: For more in-depth details on a record, double-click the record in its Summary Page. This opens the record for editing and displays the record’s Lifecycle View, where you can see the record’s current stage and all related workflows.
Management Tabs
The tabs in this each store a specific type of information or functionality related to the record.
Activity displays key management tasks or events (also known as Activities) for the record. These could include scheduled meetings, status updates, or approvals. Use this tab to track major milestones or action items.
Variations enable you to manage the record changes (also known as Variations) that bridge the gaps between original agreements and current project realities. Variations could include changes to project funding, timelines, or scope.
💡 Tip: Variations help ensure that the project stays aligned with updated goals, budgets, or schedules.
Governance Log captures a detailed history of every action taken within the record, starting from the moment it was created. Each entry records who performed the action and when it occurred. Examples of logged actions include task creation, assignments, task completions, and updates to project details.
- To email a notification about a specific Governance Log, tick Send Notification and enter an email address. You can also copy internal team members.
- To document any key events not captured automatically, click Save Manual Log Entry.
Documents lists all documents uploaded for the record at any stage of its lifecycle. Here you can:
- Add or Delete documents.
- Drag to change document order
- Download the entire set of documents.
- Create folders to organise documents, by category or phase
Reports displays all auto-generated reports produced during the record’s lifecycle. You can access, view, or download reports as needed for analysis or compliance.
