Summary
In this release of SurePact, we're evolving the product in a big way. Whilst most new features are "phase 1" – the beginning of capabilities and experiences – we're excited to share them with our users and learn what they think and want from their SurePact product. In August 2023, we adopted a user-led development approach and have enjoyed collaborating with our Product Development Advisory Group to check our ideas and designs, and support the evolution of our enhanced product.
Going forward, SurePact plans to follow quarterly major releases, with adhoc minor and high-impact bug fixes release when most suitable, to ensure the product maintains performance and experience quality refinements for users.
Our new, in-product Knowledge Hub houses a Product feedback feature which allows users to let us know how the product is performing, what's missing, or, what could be better. We encourage your feedback - it is welcome and can lead toward a better product experience for all users.
New Features
Funding Programs and Opportunity Platform
- Manage your funding programs and opportunities in the one place. SurePact's latest capability makes it easier to broadcast opportunities, track funding recipient activities, and deliver programs to confident completion in the one system.
Analytics module with data query tool (Phase 1)
- Gain valuable insights on your SurePact data through simple visualisations. Interrogate your data with "Ask SurePact", a natural language data query tool, and surface consumable information to share with a broad audience.
Knowledge Hub
- We integrated a new digital assistant to serve users with a single, easy-to-use tool. You can access product knowledge articles and guided tours, as well as provide product feedback in this nifty feature for first-time or infrequent users.
Product Updates
Improved User Experience
- Say goodbye to cluttered screens, confusing graphics, and endless tabs - SurePact joins the 21st century of digital product design and experience to support users in knowing where they are, what they should know, and how they can use the system.
Homepage widgets
- SurePact homepage now displays functional widgets that highlight your most important work after login. Top-most programs, tasks, recent activity and documents start your SurePact session informed and ready to act.
Summary pages
- From programs to applications, we're presenting a cleaner view of information. You can filter, sort and see important details to gain a confident bird's eye view of your works before diving into the individual records.
Simplified workflows
- Workflows have gone vertical and are now more succinct. With a simpler presentation of the stages involved, it's easier to know the progress of your works.
Projects and Contracts together
- Contract lists are now found in their parent projects as the relationship between the two is highly dependent. Enjoy simplified, centralised, nested information for your projects.
Data validations
- Data integrity is a priority for us at SurePact and we want to help you know the impact of data changes. SurePact lets you know when records are affected by updates so you can keep all linked records up to date.
Updated Knowledge Base
- New features and functionality require fresh knowledge to share with users. Search help topics quickly and maintain your productive momentum.
New authentication partner
- We are upgrading our Authentication provider to Azure AD allowing for a secure and seamless SSO integration with your corporate identity provider.
Fixes
- Majority of problem issues relate to the implementation of new features and the refreshed experience of SurePact.
- Most legacy issues have been resolved through new feature implementation or discovery and remedy when testing the new product version.
- Residual legacy issues will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
- Going forward into 2024, bugs will be more specifically detailed in release notes, reflective of ZenDesk tickets, informal communications from clients and findings in testing, showcases, or training sessions.
