To see what’s happening with a grant application, go to the Grants Summary and double-click the grant you want to view.
💡 Tip: Throughout the grant lifecycle, the stages, steps, and fields you can access depend on your user role. Additionally, tasks are created as needed, with emails and notifications sent to relevant users to keep everyone informed.
Grant Record Overview
At the top of the grant record, you’ll see an information bar displaying key details, including:
- Grant Name
- Workflow Progress
- Grant Manager
- Risk Rating
- Funds Approved and Funds Spent
- Grant Application Open and Close Dates
At the top right, you’ll find two icons.
- Refresh: Click to refresh the data displayed on the page.
-
Three-Dot Menu: Opens a menu with the following options:
- Print: Prints the grant details.
- Clone: Creates a copy of the grant. The cloned grant starts at the Risk Profile step of Stage 1.
-
Delete: Only available for system admins. If deletion is needed, please log a support ticket.
⚠️ Warning: Deleting a grant permanently removes it from SurePact. The more common action is to archive a grant. Archiving allows you to reference it in the future or apply again if necessary.
Grant Lifecycle Stages
The grant lifecycle consists of four stages, which are listed along the left:
Navigating Workflow Steps
Within each stage, the workflow steps are displayed as tabs across the top. A tick mark indicates that a step is complete, meaning all required fields or actions have been filled in.
💡 Tip: You can still make changes to fields even after a step is marked as complete, depending on your user role.
🙋🏻♀️ Reminder: There is currently no autosave feature in SurePact. As you move through the workflow, always click Save to ensure no data is lost.
The grant lifecycle starts at Stage 1 – Grant Overview.
