As you work in SurePact, assignments and tasks may be coming your way from all directions.
- If a project creator makes you a Project Manager, how will you know?
- How do you know when your Project Manager assigns you a task, progress claim, or internal delivery?
Never fear, that’s what SurePact notifications are for! 🎉
💡 Tip: Learn how to stay on top of your notifications.
How Notifications Work
SurePact notifications keep you informed in two ways:
- Email Alerts: Each time there’s an update, you’ll receive an email. (💡 Tip: Consider set up email folders to keep them tidy and easy to manage!)
- In-App Alerts: The Bell icon at the top of any SurePact window shows all your unread notifications.
Interacting with Notifications
When you click on the Bell icon, you’ll see a list of your notifications. Keep in mind:
- Clicking on a notification will not take you to the record it’s linked to. Instead, it marks the notification as read.
- This action is timestamped and recorded in the relevant record’s Governance Log.
⚠️ Warning: Clicking Mark All As Read timestamps all notifications at the same time. This will reflect in the Governance Log for each affected record.
Manage Your Tasks with Ease
Notifications for tasks and activities also appear at the bottom of your SurePact Homepage, in the Tasks Widget.
This is a great spot to keep track of your to-dos! Simply double-click on any task to go straight to the relevant record, task, or activity.
💡 Tip: We recommend using the Homepage as your go-to for managing tasks, for quick access and efficiency.
Adjusting Notifications
For Projects, Contracts, Grants, and Portfolios, the Record Manager decides who gets notifications.
To make changes:
- Go to the record’s Information section.
- When adding or editing team members, simply tick (or untick) the Notification box as needed.
