An internal delivery is created for a contract, to cover deliverables such as freight, fuel, labour, materials, etc.
Internal deliveries are set up as required by the Contract Manager.
To get started, click the Add icon at the top of the Internal Deliveries table.
Assign a name and description for the internal delivery, along with the other required fields. The Delivery Owner is the team member responsible for completing the delivery Click Save Changes.
Note that start and end dates must fall within the overall date range of contract to which the internal delivery is added. If the dates don’t work, you have two choices: change the contract date range, or create a contract variation.
Note: If the Delivery Owner is different than the Delivery Creator, the Delivery Owner will be notified of their new assigned task. Both the Delivery Owner and Delivery Creator can enter or edit fields for the internal delivery.
Once saved, the Delivery Owner can continue with the internal delivery tabs: Details, Documents, Approvals, Permissions, and Governance Log. The interactions on these tabs are the same as the corresponding tabs for planned activities.
When you close an internal delivery, it appears in the Internal Deliveries table.
Double-clicking an internal delivery opens it for viewing or editing. While an internal delivery is highlighted in the table, you can delete it.
